One thing I love about "smaller" towns is the relative proximity to amenaties. Melissa and I arranged to go to the St. George Temple this morning, and as it is only a few blocks away from my parent's home, we decided to walk. It was wonderful.
Much of today was spent playing with cousins in back yards: digging holes, making tipis, playing games, and building puzzles. Melissa and I joined Cam and Shayna at the theatre and enjoyed Spielberg's adaptation of "The War of the Worlds" by H.G. Wells. I really enjoyed the film and thought it followed the original story much better than some of the older versions and variants.
